New Patient Booking

The PFHT Health Clinic is for people living in Peterborough City or County who do not have a family doctor or nurse practitioner in Ontario.

An OHIP card is required for an appointment. If you arrive and it is not valid, you will be directed to Service Ontario and you will need to re-book your appointment.

Episodic Care (NEW patient)

This clinic DOES NOT do forms which include notes.

You are booking a 10-minute, Problem-Specific Appointment

Examples of problem-specific care include:

  • Birth control & Family Planning
  • Blood pressure check
  • Cold symptoms (over 1 week)
  • COPD/CHF flare-up
  • Diabetes check (labs/medication)
  • Dizziness/Balance issues
  • Immunizations (age 4+) - provide the name of the immunization
  • Menstrual concerns
  • Muscle/Joint pain
  • Pap test
  • Prescription refills (up to 5)
  • Skin issues (rashes, acne, etc.)
  • Sore ears/throat
  • Stomach/bowel issues (constipation, diarrhea, etc.)
  • Urinary tract infection (UTI)

Well Baby Care (NEW patient)

You are booking a First Well-Baby Visit Appointment. 

The Well-Baby Clinic will:

  • Assess growth and development
  • Recommend immunizations
  • Navigate baby to appropriate resources within the community if needed

Who can attend this clinic?

  • Babies who do not have a family doctor or nurse practitioner
  • Babies who are 2 months to 18 months of age
  • Babies who have an appointment

  • Babies who are 2 months to 18 months of age
  • Babies who have been to the clinic before.

You can easily book an appointment with our clinic online! It’s quick and convenient. You can even get reminders about your upcoming appointments if you want. This helps our team focus more on caring for you by reducing phone calls and getting helpful info before your visit.

Our online booking is simple to use. You don’t need to sign up, log in, or remember any passwords. The system works great on your phone, and you can cancel or reschedule with just a link sent to your email.

Is this a safe option for booking my appointments?

We use OceanMD for our online appointment booking. It’s a tool that helps make healthcare easier and better for patients. Ocean Online Booking follows Ontario Health’s rules to make sure it’s safe and secure, so your privacy is always protected.

Do I need an email address to book an appointment?

You don’t need an email address to book an appointment online, but it’s a good idea to use one. This way, you can easily cancel or change your appointment and get reminders about it.
