Peterborough Family Health Team strives to support primary health care for all residents of Peterborough city and county. We break down barriers and bridge gaps to ensure equitable healthcare is available for all in our community.
With the escalating number of unattached patients and marginalized populations, we have taken the initiative to create specialized clinics to catch these groups that fall through the cracks; however, we need your help.
The following clinic is an interim solution for unattached patients while we wait for more permanent solutions.
CLINICS
Provisions of Service:
The PFHT Health Clinic provides acute and episodic care to unattached residents in the Peterborough area. The clinic promotes “problem-specific” care; however, at certain times throughout the year, the NPs and nurses provide cancer screening to the unattached. Our hope is to expand specific clinics like this throughout the year.
